We had to write a Holiday letter as a homework, and here was mine. Gets better in the middle, if the begining sounds boring.

Hi, Aivar,
How are you? I hope your court is going well, and you won’t have to pay any security deposit. Have you decided if you will candidate for the Prime Minister? I think you should, no?
Anyways, I am here at a partisan camp near Grozny, the capital of Chechnya. My group and I were taken as hostages. Sounds very exciting, doesn’t it? Well, we’ve been here for about four days, but I don’t know how much longer I can stand the dishwater soup, because these guys add cheese to it, and I’m sure you know that cheese and dishwater totally don’t go together well.
Luckily, we are being held in cages, and there is nothing much to do. Well, yeah, we do play cards, that you managed to smuggle in, but it gets boring in a while because Vladimir always wins. Of course, anyone with a gun would win in this situation. Tim almost got killed yesterday! So exciting, I suggest you to use this travel agency too.
As for us, Jamey always tries to escape and yesterday he got shot in his leg. Tim has
sworn to have a hunger strike until he is let out and Anna has started to think she’s a monkey these days. So everything is normal as usual.
Sorry, but I must stop writing. The guard is coming to give me daily beating. Write back soon! Well, I hope you will decide to join us soon, because I don’t think I will be going home for couple of months.
